Instructions

For this project, you will study a religion of the world. You may choose from the following religions:

Buddhism
Christianity
Hinduism
Islam
Judaism
Shinto

Take some time to read through the religions to pick the one you wish to study. Remember that I am looking for you to learn something new so please do not pick a religion that is already familiar to you.

Research
Use the Research sheet as a guide to do your research. You may use the information in the links provided above. Also, you must use two other sources, one book and one Internet site. The library has many books for you to use.




Use the Sacred Sites website to find places that are sacred to your religion.

Oral Presentation


The following elements are required for your presentation:
  • Topic announced
  • Brief History of the Religion in Asia including how it spread
  • Fundamental Beliefs
  • Significant people
  • Interesting facts/important dates
  • Current Event
  • What you learned from your interview
